The playground is close to a busy street but (and this is awesome) it has a fence to block children from the street. Something about the playground design made it so that i didn’t even have to worry about my toddler going to the parking lot let alone go to the street. All the slides pointed to the open field and going up to the fence was an uphill battle, literally. But once your kid goes up the small hill there are several slides that guide them down and send them to a whole lot of fun, like, some fun blocks and a rainbow road that’s fun for all ages. The toboggans are way too cool. We also, caught the Kent parks department laying out some amazing activities. This park is a must.
West Fenwick Park is a delightful park; a hidden gem! It's a busy park with lots of kids; go in the mid afternoon and it quiets down a tad. The main area is a life-sized version of Slides & Climbers board game, with lots of climbing and --yup, sliding! The park also hosts a large, open grass field, handball, tennis and basketball courts, a fun hill to climb, and a walking trail. Fun for all ages!
Basketball, handball and tennis courts. The playground has a colorful life-sized Chutes-and-Ladders style game. Restrooms, drinking fountains. Hang out in nature - big open field. Great play area for kids and adults. Covered shelter, bbq's and tables inside & out. Exercise equipment along the walking trail. Parking lot is a little on the small size - but possible overflow parking at a nearby skateboard park.
Very cool playground, designed more for older kids but my toddler had a blast too.
Great park with beautiful lupine flowers , large field, and cool snakes and ladder playground. Only thing that could use improvement is that the men’s restroom could use a cleaning.
This is hands down the best park in Washington that my kids have ever been to! It’s HUGE!!! It has not only a huge field for playing catch, running, but it also has its own little soccer area, and the cutest, most fun playground!! My kids are totally obsessed with this park, there is so much fun to be had here! The whole park is like a huge game board which makes it soooo much cooler!!! All the play structures here are so much fun and there are so many things to do there is enough things for everyone, of all ages.
Picnic area was large and the playground was fun! My kids loved doing the chutes and ladders game that was integrated within it. We went when it was raining so we basically had the whole park to ourselves.
This park is so cool. A shoots and ladder themed park. It has little hills that elevates the slides and ladders so its fun for the little thrill seekers. There's not a ton of regular swings so you may have to wait a little bit if your kid loves the swings. But this park is great for older kids too. It has a basketball court, tennis court and a "soccer pitch" court and what appeared to be raquet ball. There is also bathrooms on site too, so that's nice. I also liked the water fountains. It has a water bottle refill station too.
